Confidential Supports

Harvard community members have a right to seek information and support through confidential resources at the University. Resources designated as confidential Two orange locks, designating confidentialityby the University do not need to notify a Title IX Resource Coordinator when they learn about potential incidents of sexual harassment or other sexual misconduct. However, they may be required to reveal information that was shared with them in a criminal or other external proceeding.

Harvard University resources that are confidential and privileged Three orange locks, designating confidential and privileged status, such as Sexual Harassment/Assault Resources & Education (SHARE) Counselors, may not disclose information that you share with them without your consent even in a criminal or other external proceeding, absent special circumstances.
